First RCA UHD TVs
RCA is entering the Ultra HD TV market with three TVs capable of displaying stunning images with more than 8 million pixels, or four times the resolution of standard high-definition televisions. The three competitively priced models, in 55-, 65-, and 84-inch screen sizes, are LED-backlit LCD sets and boast Smart TV functionality for vastly expanded program options and an ultra-thin bezel that lends the TVs a chic “all screen” appearance. The Android (formerly Google) TV platform built into each set provides an integrated onscreen interface with access to cable/satellite TV, apps and online content, including more than 100,000 on-demand movies and TV episodes and thousands of YouTube channels. The sets all have a native “4K” resolution of 3840 x 2160.
Affordable Roku® Ready LCD Line-Up
RCA is stepping up its HDTV game in 2014 with an extensive LED-backlit LCD lineup that includes affordable Roku Ready® models with the Roku Streaming Stick™ that when inserted into the MHL port of the TV provides access to more than 1,000 entertainment channels. For the ultimate convenience, all Roku commands can be controlled by the TV’s remote control. Screen sizes are 28, 32, 40, 46, 50, 55, and 65 inches and the sets are equipped with two to four HDMI inputs (depending on the model). Additionally, RCA is introducing its first two HDTV sets with curved design.
Two New Mobile TV Tablets
RCA is bringing a new level of functionality to the masses with competitively priced Android-based mobile TV tablets equipped to receive live TV broadcasts. A 7-inch Google-Certified model with a standard over-the-air digital TV (DTV) tuner and an 8-inch dual-tuner model with DTV and Dyle™ mobile TV tuners both double as full functioning tablets and offer high-definition touch screens, front and rear cameras, Wi-Fi connectivity and built-in flash memory. The DDA730R Mobile TV Smart Tablet, featuring a 7-inch 1024 x 600 multi-touch screen, high-performance ARM Cortex A9 dual core processor and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, delivers incomparable value at a suggested retail price of $149. The DMT580DU Mobile TV Smart Tablet, which has a suggested retail price of $249, features an 8-inch 1024 x 768 multi-touch screen and expanded TV viewing options via its Dyle mobile TV tuner, which enables consumers to watch live, local TV while on the move in addition to viewing standard digital TV broadcasts while stationary. Dyle TV service is available in 37 U.S. markets with 127 TV stations broadcasting popular programming and local news from ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, ion Television, Telemundo and a dozen other media companies.
Easy Set-Up IP Phone System
Small businesses can now set up a complete office VoIP system in minutes, without the hassles of wiring with the latest RCA Wireless Office Telephone System. The heart of the new RCA IP170S IP phone system is in its completely wireless architecture. Since many small businesses and start-ups today don’t run network cabling for office computers, the included RCA Base Station connects to each phone (up to six), all utilizing IP-DECT wireless technology. Not only can businesses skip having to wire their offices for VoIP phones, the phones themselves can be placed almost anywhere there is a power outlet. Additionally, the RCA IP170S automatically pairs up with the low-cost VoIP service delivered by Broadview Networks, an award-winning provider of cloud-based phone services. VoIP Services from RCA and Broadview are only $19.95 per line and do not require annual contracts.
