Campaign Begins a New, Bold Effort to Market the Iconic Brand
LOS ANGELES – Nov, 2015 – RCA, an iconic brand and long-time symbol of American ingenuity, today announced its campaign to kick-start the 2015 holiday season and showcase its Q4 lineup. Delivering holiday magic and celebrating decades of bringing families together, RCA’s “Made For Moments” campaign will launch Nov. 27, both online via social media and in person at the Glendale Galleria in Los Angeles, where RCA will be hosting an interactive holiday kiosk.
With the RCA “Magic Moment Generator” at MyRCAMoment.com, which features the latest in image and video-capture technology, families can interact with specialized video backgrounds to create and upload digital photos with festive animated gifs and stickers. Los Angeles area residents can find their own “Magic Moment Generator” at the mall kiosk, where shoppers will be able to create and customize holiday eCards, and check out the latest RCA products on display.
Using the #MyRCAMoment hashtag, participants can share these fun, magical holiday moments, and also have the option to simultaneously enter into RCA’s sweepstakes for a chance to win a number of RCA products.
”This holiday campaign re-introduces the RCA brand and its many products to families from coast to coast,” said Manuele Wahl, SVP Technology and Trademark Licensing, Technicolor. “We wanted to make this holiday more magical by providing shareable moments on social media and product giveaways.”
For both the grand prize and weekly prizes RCA is highlighting products across various categories, including affordably priced flat panel and 4K televisions, tablets, smart phones with dual-SIM support, as well as home appliances such as wine coolers, microwaves and more. All of the products feature the exceptional value and approachable technology that families have come to expect from the RCA brand.
